An Incentive in Music City, USA

Helping organizations uncover the perfect destination for meetings and incentive travel can feel like a tall order—but that’s where the Maxxus Group shines. By partnering with our team, clients gain access to seasoned event experts with their fingers firmly on the pulse of the world’s most exciting destinations.

For this particular program, one city stood out for all the right reasons: Nashville, Tennessee. Increasingly popular and endlessly energetic, Nashville checked every box—and most importantly, it delivered exactly what our client asked for: a destination that would be “loads of fun” for their high-spirited participants.

Why Nashville?

Known by many names—Music City, the Athens of the South, the Birthplace of Country Music—Nashville is increasingly capturing attention as one of the most sought-after incentive destinations in the U.S. And it’s easy to see why.

Nashville offers something for every taste and interest. World-class music venues, unforgettable cuisine, and a rich cultural scene blend seamlessly into an experience that feels vibrant, creative, and refreshingly real.

While country music may be Nashville’s claim to fame, the city’s soundtrack is wonderfully diverse. Walk down any bustling street and you’ll hear everything from rock and blues to jazz and soul. Add to that an incredibly walkable downtown and a steady stream of new venues opening each month, and it’s clear—Nashville is constantly evolving.

Nashville, With a Twist

Great music and great food naturally bring people together, and Nashville offers venues to match every mood and moment. Our challenge was to design a program that would appeal to a wide range of tastes within a fun-seeking, competitive group. What we knew for certain was this: no matter the activity, the true magic would come from the camaraderie that emerges when a driven group is given permission to relax, laugh, and connect.

Day 1 — Arrivals & First Impressions

Guests arrived throughout the day and were seamlessly transferred to their hotel—Noelle. Chosen for its personality and creative spirit, Noelle isn’t just a hotel; it’s an immersive experience. Thoughtfully designed by some of Nashville’s finest architects and artists, the property reflects the city’s soul in every detail.

With historic Printer’s Alley just steps away and Broadway only a block from the front door, Noelle offered what mattered most to our guests: location. After a day of travel and exploration, the group gathered for their first official moment together at Rare Bird, the hotel’s stylish rooftop bar. Specialty cocktails, sweeping city views, and an electric atmosphere set the perfect tone for the days ahead.

Day 2 — Let the Fun Begin

After a hearty breakfast, it was time to kick things off in true Nashville fashion. The first activity was designed to break the ice and get everyone laughing—a visit to RCA Studio B, a professional recording studio, where participants recorded their very own songs. Whether musically gifted or not, the results were unforgettable, hilarious, and an instant bonding experience.

Of course, no trip to Nashville would be complete without a visit to its iconic landmarks. The Country Music Hall of Fame and the Grand Ole Opry were woven into the day, offering a deeper appreciation for the city’s legendary roots.

That evening, guests enjoyed dinner at Kayne Prime, one of Nashville’s most celebrated steakhouses. Known for its modern take on classic American cuisine, the experience delivered bold flavors in a sophisticated setting.

Day 3 — More Music, More Memories

The music continued with guided visits to some of Nashville’s most meaningful venues, including the National Museum of African American Music. Through immersive technology and storytelling, the museum brings to life the profound influence African American artists have had on nearly every music genre.

To truly connect with the creative heart of Music City, the group enjoyed an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the Listening Room Café recording studios, where songs are imagined, written, and brought to life.

Lunch brought an authentic local favorite: Prince’s Hot Chicken Shack, home of the original Nashville Hot Chicken. Spicy, legendary, and unforgettable—it was a must and a winner.

And for a sweet finale, guests headed to the Goo Goo Cluster Factory, where chocolate and history collide. The group even crafted their own Goo Goo Clusters, creating a delicious souvenir and a memory sure to last.

The afternoon wrapped up at the Musicians Hall of Fame, home to an interactive Grammy Museum Gallery. Guests explored how music is engineered and produced—and some even stepped into the spotlight themselves, playing instruments and singing alongside musicians in the studio.

To close the program on a high note, the final evening unfolded at the 12|30 Club’s Supper Club. With its speakeasy-inspired ambiance and VIP flair, it delivered the ultimate authentic Nashville experience.

Day 4 — Farewell, Music City

As all great experiences do, this one came to an end. While it was hard to say goodbye to such a fun-loving and dynamic group, they departed Nashville with unforgettable memories, stronger connections, and a renewed sense of inspiration—ready to return home energized and motivated to reach new performance milestones.
