We recently had to plan an incentive trip to Singapore for a long-standing client. The group was made up of top performers at the industrial company in South Africa. This was an “easy” task: Singapore is known as a premier destination for incentive trips, offering a perfect blend of high-octane city life, lush tropical escapes, and world-class hospitality. What follows is an outline of the three-day program we put together for this VIP group.
Day 1: Modern Icons and Sky-High Welcome
Morning: VIP Arrival & Check-in
o The group arrived at the Changi Airport and was quickly transferred via private luxury coaches to The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore. The Ritz is frequently nominated as a top incentive hotel in Singapore. It is famous for its massive guest rooms with skyline views and a grand ballroom perfect for gala dinners.
Afternoon: Private "City in a Garden" Tour
After time for the group to get settled, we embarked on the proposed program:
To get acquainted with the city, the group got to enjoy a private guided tour of Gardens by the Bay, including the Cloud Forest’s indoor waterfall and the Flower Dome.
The tour was followed by a "Sustainable Garden" workshop to align with our client’s corporate goals.
Evening: Welcome Under the Stars
Sunset Reception: The group’s first evening got underway with cocktails at the CÉ LA VI SkyBar atop the Marina Bay Sands Hotel for a lively atmosphere and breathtaking panoramic views.
Welcome Dinner: A gala dinner was planned for the group’s first night at the Flower Field Hall, surrounded by seasonal blooms.
Day 2: Heritage, Culture & Connection
Morning: Cultural Immersion
Vintage Vespa Tour: It was time to explore the city’s historic Civic District and Kampong Glam in vintage sidecars, a unique and highly Instagrammable way to see the city, followed by a Peranakan Tingkat painting workshop for the group to learn about local craft and culture.
Afternoon: Gastronomy & Networking
The afternoon was reserved for a private culinary challenge, including a dumpling-making masterclass as well as a guided "Michelin Hawker" food tour.
Evening: Night Wildlife Adventure
In the evening, the group was treated to an exclusive "Evening in the Wild" at the Night Safari, featuring a gourmet 4-course dinner in a Tipi tent with animal encounters.
Day 3: Island Escape & Grand Finale
Morning: Sentosa Luxury Retreat
On their final day, the group was transferred to Sentosa Island via the Singapore Cable Car Sky Pass for stunning harbor views.
There, they got to choose between a Dragon Boat challenge for high-energy team building or a relaxing morning at Capella Singapore's Auriga Spa.
Afternoon: Private Yacht Excursion
In the afternoon, we had chartered a fleet of luxury yachts from ONE°15 Marina for a cruise to the Southern Islands, complete with watersports and a BBQ lunch onboard.
Evening: Grand Finale Gala
The final farewell night was hosted at Fiamma in Capella for an Italian-themed celebration.
